Each set included 20 coins—10 struck at the Philadelphia Mint and 10 at the Denver Mint. The first group of ten is housed in blisters and a blue folder, while the second is housed in blisters and a red folder.

2019 was the tenth annual release of the America the Beautiful Quarters, and the five included in this year’s set honored Lowell National Historical Park in Massachusetts, American Memorial Park in the Northern Mariana Islands, War in the Pacific National Historical Park in Guam, San Antonio Missions National Historical Park in Texas, Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness in Idaho

The set further included a Native American Dollar with a reverse design honoring Native Americans in the U.S. space program. The designs features Mary Golda Ross writing calculations, while behind her, an Atlas-Agena rocket launches into space with an equation inscribed in its cloud. An astronaut, symbolic of Native American astronauts, including John Herrington, spacewalks above. In the field behind, a group of stars indicates outer space. The obverse design retains the central figure Sacagawea carrying her infant son, Jean Baptiste. The inscriptions are “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST.”

The set also included that year’s Kennedy Half Dollar, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel, and Lincoln Cent. And all 20 coins are made on special presses to give them sharper strikes and higher quality than circulation coins.

Bonus Lincoln Cent

The 2019 also included a special bonus 2019-W Lincoln Cent struck at the West Point Mint in Uncirculated condition that was placed in plastic wrap and included with each of the sets. This marked the first year when Lincoln cents were struck in Uncirculated condition with a “W” mint mark. The 2019 Proof Set and the 2019 Silver Proof Set also included special 2019-W Lincoln Cents.
